Charity Manager

The Salespeople’s Charity is an occupational benevolent fund that provides financial support to current and former business to business field sales representatives and their families in times of hardship. The Charity Manager's role is to manage the operation of the Charity and the beneficiary application process and through pro-active engagement with other charities & key bodies, identify best practice, marketing strategies and changing legislative requirements.

Job DescriptionThe Salespeople’s Charity is an occupational benevolent fund that provides financial support to current and former business to business field sales representatives and their families in times of hardship. The Charity Manager is the sole employee of the Charity, reporting to a Board of Trustees, carrying out all administrative duties to enable the Charity to operate including being the point of contact for clients, financial reporting, promoting the Charity through industry contacts and social media and ensuring the Trustees are up to date with governance and Charity Commissions legislation. The Charity Manager is also Secretary to the Board. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of charitable organisations, be empathetic and have strong communication skills as well as basic accounting knowledge.
