ACO is partnering with 360Giving to develop an opportunity for benevolent/grantmaking charities to publish their data on the current 360Giving Data Standard.
360Giving provides a platform for grantmakers to openly publish grants data and help organisations use this to improve charitable giving. Currently 225 grantmakers providing over 723,000 grants sit on the 360Giving Data Standard, however these are currently primarily funders to organisations.
This online workshop will discuss why publishing your grants data can provide tangible benefits to your organisation as well as to the wider charity sector. The session will include:
Joining the Steering Group
We are looking to recruit a small core of colleagues who will oversee the development and implementation of this project in conjunction with 360Giving over the next year. Time commitment is anticipated to be monthly one hour zoom meetings initially, with frequency reducing as the project moves forward. (Further details will be provided around ToR).
Please note that members of the group do not need to be data experts in any way – but rather an interest in looking at the types of data categories we could build and how we implement the programme with participating charities.
The first steering group meeting will take place in May (date tbc).
Please email ACO Chief Executive Donal Watkin to express an interest in joining the steering group donal@aco.uk.net
Project Interest
Those of you who are not able to join the Steering Group, but wish to be part of the wider information loop as the project moves forward (i.e. receiving regular updates on the platform progress) please get in touch to be added to our mailing list.
