We will be hosting the following cross-sector event in partnership with Lightning Reach:

Delivering impact through cross-sector support

Tuesday 18 June, 2-6pm

The Royal Air Force Club (The Sovereign’s Room)
128 Piccadilly, London W1J 7PY

This event seeks to reflect on the impact made on those struggling financially and explore ways we can collaboratively drive impact in difficult times. We will bring together leaders across the charity, corporate, local authority, social housing and advice sectors – alongside individuals with lived experience of financial hardship – to share learning, exchange experiences and discuss ideas to make a real difference across the system.

Join us to share learning and experiences, hear from individuals with lived experience of financial hardship and discuss ideas to make a difference. The occasion also celebrates the milestone of £10m+ awarded via the Lightning Reach portal and over 100,000 users.

The event will include panel discussions and interactive breakouts (2-5pm), and time for informal networking after. Speakers include:

  • Paul Maynard MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Pensions)
  • Sara Weller CBE, Chair, Money and Pensions Service and Non-Executive Director, BT and Virgin Money
  • Steve Baynes, Head of Social Policy & Grant Giving at The Royal British Legion
  • Chris Flynn, Director of Housing Needs at Lambeth Council
  • Aruna Bhalla, Head of Partnerships & Open Banking at TSB
  • …and others to be announced
