Ali Russell (National Benevolent Charity) and Michelle Benson (Culture of Philanthropy) will be presenting an idea of how benevolent/grant-making charities could achieve more together than apart around appliance poverty. This idea is still at concept stage, so Ali and Michelle would like to invite you to help shape it.
If your charity provides vouchers or cash grants to beneficiaries to buy household appliances, please do come and contribute to this important discussion of how together we can grow the funding pot and make our money go further through our collective purchasing power.
We are keen to make the session very interactive so our presentation will be fairly quick as it is a very simple concept. What we would love is to get the following questions answered through encouraging people to discuss and question the concept:
• What is the initial reaction and thinking of the concept itself?
• Levels of interest to join forces.
• Ideas to help shape execution.
• Any problems that we have not thought of?
