What’s does the future look like for occupational charities? The last five years (no doubt influenced by a global pandemic!) have seen significant changes to the way in which occupational, trade and sectoral charities approach and deliver support. Whether it’s the impact of digitalisation, the increasing introduction of wellbeing services, the shifting demographics of beneficiaries or the increased pressure to diversify income sources, we are seeing a generational shift in how these charities operate. We are planning to capture and reflect these themes in our forthcoming report – to be published in late Spring – talking to colleagues across the network about the key challenges they face and how they see the landscape for occupational charities continue to evolve. We will be reaching out to members shortly and look forward to some fascinating dialogues!
We look forward to welcoming you to our February and March event programme, which will include bringing together our International Beneficiary, MarComms and Caseworker groups. At the same time, we will be launching our new HR group which will be an opportunity to bring together both colleagues in people management functions as well as those of you with broader roles encompassing HR responsibilities/interests. We will also be foreshadowing the launch of our upcoming benchmarking report with a workshop outlining key findings and themes arising from the data.
In the meantime, we will be shortly sharing news around our Impact & Evaluation conference in May – kindly hosted by Evelyn Partners – details to follow!
