Charity News Review: May 2024 Edition

Read the latest ACO newsletter with updates from us, our members and the wider charity sector.

A message from our Chief Executive

This month has seen the launch of our new ACO Guild Community, which provides an online space for ACO members to come together and share insights, flag challenges and explore opportunities.

In the first instance we encourage colleagues to register (see below) and moving forward we also plan for this hub to provide for our special interest groups to share resources. Above everything else we hope this will encourage increased connection between our member charities – as the BT advert used to say  (for those of you old enough to recall) it’s good to talk!

September 12th plays host to this year’s annual conference in London. With an event this seems to get bigger (and hopefully better!) every year, we are keen to plan an exciting programme that really challenges our attendees and we are currently developing the agenda to this end. If there are any burning issues/themes that you would like to see explored this year, please feel free to flag this to me donal@aco.uk.net In the meantime, we look forward to launching registration next month.

This month’s edition features:

  • Upcoming ACO and wider sector events
  • Jobs board
  • Member spotlight on Grocery Aid
