Corporate membership

For UK and international companies with an interest in the benevolent charity sector, our corporate membership is the gateway to our extensive membership of charity professionals and trustees. Membership includes guaranteed advertising in our publications and the opportunity to communicate with members in a unique way.

The Association of Charitable Organisations is the national UK umbrella body for Trusts and Foundations that give grants and welfare support to individuals in need.

Building on the strong tradition between philanthropy and business, corporate membership provides value for your company and to us. Your support helps us to underwrite the cost of projects aimed at helping charities to help people.

Marketing potential

As a corporate member your organisation will benefit from a relationship with the Association of Charitable Organisations by making sure our members know about your services.

As part of your corporate membership we will promote your services in our newsletters and website. There are also opportunities to advertise in publications and other communications with the charity membership and to raise issues of interest in the members forum.

Corporate membership also puts you in a prime position to sponsor meetings and conferences where you can exhibit your services to ACO members. This is an opportunity to raise your profile in the benevolence sector.

Benefits of corporate membership

ACO News

Ten issues per year are sent to all ACO members. Readership is estimated at over 2,000 senior manager, staff, trustees and volunteers.

Editorial content covers issues and areas of interest and concern to ACO members with a wide range of information on policy issues. Information is regularly provided on legal issues, financial services and specialist suppliers that support welfare support services.

Corporate members are automatically included in every issue in the corporate members section providing a logo, brief description of services and contact details.

Rates for advertising and inserts are available from ACO.

ACO website

ACO re-launched our website in September 2011 with a new design and member's forum, and this is the first port of call for anyone with an interest in grant making and welfare support for individuals in need across the UK.

A corporate member's logo and contact details are featured in the "Corporate Member" section with links to your own website.

Access to groups and special events

We organise a national conference each year for benevolence funds, bringing together members with keynote speakers and workshops run by experts. We also co-ordinate a range of meetings and networks throughout the year.

Opportunities exist to get involved with these groups by exhibiting and guest speaking in your organisations areas of expertise.
