Join ACO - charity membership

If you are a registered charity providing financial and wellbeing support to individuals and families in need, we would be delighted to welcome you to join ACO!

About ACO Membership

ACO provides an invaluable environment to bring together charities from throughout the sector to leverage their expertise, experience and resources to address these common issues and develop shared solutions.

By joining us, your whole organisation will benefit from a range of tools and resources specifically tailored to the benevolence/grant-making sector and we will provide a strong platform to enhance your activities through collaboration, peer connection and knowledge sharing with other charities in the sector.

ACO comprises a diverse network of other benevolent and grant-making charities, providing our members with a wide range of organisations to share knowledge and benchmark against.

Why Join ACO?

Knowledge sharing - Providing a platform to share best practice and benchmarking through member-only events, research and publications. Managing special interest groups around CEOs, Small Charities, Marcomms, International Beneficiaries and Income Generation. Access to monthly sectoral e-newsletter Charity News Review.

Building peer-to-peer relations - Developing working relationships with others throughout the sector brings significant benefits for both personal and professional development. 

Lobbying and advocacy - Being the voice of the benevolence sector and working in conjunction with other charity sector infrastructure bodies to influence Government, regulators and industry bodies.

Support and assistance - Aiding members on specific issues and signposting appropriate advice/support within the sector.

Membership fees

Subscription band Annual Subscription
Small Charity Subscription - annual turnover less than £350k £395
Basic Subscription - annual turnover between £350k and £1m £750
Band A -  annual turnover between £1m and £3m £875
Band B - annual turnover between £3m and £5m   £985
Band C - annual turnover over £5m £1,100
