Sleepstation - Dream Partnership Reaps Rewards

Sleepstation updates us on how they have been successfully working with ACO and its member charities since joining as a corporate partner last year.

ACO members are waking up to the benefits of better sleep thanks to a dream partnership boosting physical and mental health.

Sleepstation is the NHS endorsed online sleep service which has transformed the lives of tens of thousands of people across the UK. And our partnership with the ACO means member organisations are achieving better sleep across the board.

“ACO has developed a strong working relationship with Sleepstation over the last year,” said Donal Watkin, CEO at ACO. “Sleepstation has actively partnered with a range of our benevolent and grant-making member charities, enabling them to deliver innovative sleep improvement programmes to their beneficiaries. The availability of this platform to individuals suffering from sleep problems really connects with our charities’ commitment to meeting the wellbeing needs of their audience during these challenging times.”

Sleepstation helps people overcome sleep problems, like insomnia, without the need for sleeping pills. Our programme is NHS-endorsed, clinically validated and delivered entirely online. We work with some of the world’s largest employers — including several ACO members — to help staff solve a range of sleep-related problems. And we’re able to develop positive relationships built on mutual trust at a time when sleep has never been more important.

Jane Petit, CEO of ACO members Foothold, said: “We have been working with Sleepstation for the last 15 months and launched our partnership on World Sleep Day last year. The Sleepstation team has always been responsive to our requirements. As our understanding of each other’s organisations has increased, we have been able to maximise the benefits of their programme for our community of engineers.”

Jane’s sentiment is echoed by Clergy Support Trust which launched a pilot partnership with Sleepstation in October 2020. Sarah Crombie, the Trust’s Director of Charitable Services, said: “Sleepstation has been great to work with — both pre-launch and post-launch — with the overall service set up relatively quickly. We hope to launch the partnership in full to all our beneficiaries in March 2021." It’s early days in terms of our partnership, but we are already receiving some great feedback from clergy benefiting from improved sleep.

With an expert team of clinicians, researchers and patient support, backed by a leading-edge technology platform, Sleepstation is a recognised authority on sleep. We also work in partnership with The Sleep Council, The Sleep Charity and NHS Trusts and support individuals and organisations in 43 countries across the world.

Alison Gardiner, CEO of Sleepstation, said: “We believe that true partnerships, where both organisations take the time to understand each other’s needs and goals, can produce exceptional results. And with each new partnership that we launch the evidence for this is becoming undeniable. The support that we provide to those experiencing sleep problems has always been focused on the individual. So working with organisations like Foothold and Clergy Support Trust affords us unique insights into how we can enhance that support.”
